2. Advanced Boiler Quality High Pressure Welder: 30 Nos. ()

About the Courses:
These courses will impart adequate training both on theoretical and practical aspects of welding. These courses conform to the standard of Boiler and Pressure Vessel welding prescribed for certification tests as per provisions of the Indian Boiler Regulations – 1950 conducted by the competent authority of the Central Boilers Board.
These courses are designed to provide fundamental theory of welding of different type of materials like Carbon Steels, Alloy Steels, Stainless Steels with various welding processes e.g. Oxyacetylene welding, GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, SAW, FCAW etc. to suit with the Boiler Quality welding with the basic knowledge of WPS and PQR. These courses are approved by the Labour Department, Government of West Bengal.
Note : Materials required for practical tests (viz: cut pcs. of pipes, tubes and plates after necessary machining and edge preparation) shall be brought by the Trainees at their own costs.

Qualification: Should have secured 40% marks in each subject and 50% marks in aggregate in class XII AND Should have studied English and Math/Accts/Book keeping in class XII or Class X. Should have secured min 40% marks in each subject, whether it was studied in class XII or Class X.
If candidate is a graduate(any field) with Maths/Acct/Book Keeping and English (even elective) as one of the subjects. The stipulation of scoring 40% marks in Math/English in class X or XII and scoring 50% marks in aggregate in class XII is waived off.
If candidate is a graduate but not having English and Maths/Accts/Book Keeping at graduate level, he should have scored minimum 40% marks in English and Maths/Accts/Book Keeping at least once in Class X or Class XII.
Physical Standards: Height – 162 cms; Weight – 50Kgs (48 for ST/Adivasis), Chest (unexpanded/ expanded) – 77/82 cms.
